Mountaineers and avid hikers go their separate ways, meeting up again in the evening at the hut, faces radiant from everything they have experienced. Regardless of the season, tired muscles are brought back to life … on invigorating mountain- or E-bike trails, hiking or Nordic walking, or simply by strolling over to the nearest mountain hut.

In winter, 42 km of family pistes … or the 15 km of XC trails … will eventually entice late risers out of their comfy beds. As will the frozen lake with its maintained skating areas. Or hiking paths through the fairytale winter forest. Sleighrides, too … everything winter has to offer is found on the Turracher Höhe in abundance. Likewise, summers here are more refreshingly full-flavored than practically anywhere else in Europe. As are the pollen-free pine forests. And those convivial gatherings on sunny terraces outside mountain huts..
