In order not to unnecessarily restrict the freedom of movement of our guests, we have decided to give up our level 1 status. Therefore we are only allowed to receive fully vaccinated guests in the UTMT.

Please be sure to have the original confirmation of the vaccinations with you. Also carry a translation in English with you.

Before departure you need a negative PCR test, which (on arrival in Sri Lanka) must not be older than 72 hours. There is no COVID test at Colombo Airport upon entry. Our driver will pick you up and take you directly to the UTMT resort.

From the first day you can move freely throughout the resort and use all facilities (restaurant, yoga, pool, beach, etc.)

For our fully vaccinated guests, there will be no more restrictions from October 2021. Not only can you move freely in the hotel, but also in the country itself. Leave the hotel at any time and visit markets, beaches, temples and shops and explore the area independently. Interacting with locals is no longer limited either.

The compulsory COVID health insurance for your stay has also been abolished, but it is advisable to organize health insurance that includes Covid disease in advance.

All of our employees are vaccinated twice and this enables us to guarantee you a safe stay. The resort's extensive open spaces, gardens and beach make it easy for us to keep our distance and create a really safe environment for our guests. Excursions can be booked at any time

After 18 months of rest, we are very happy to finally be able to open our hotel properly again and to welcome you to the UTMT.
